Now my kids are pretty picky eaters but there are three things that they will eat without question.
They are 1. Olives 2. Pizza 3. Cheese
SO we put those three things together and made such a fun family meal out of it. Prepping it together made it so FUN and it’s the easiest thing you will make!!
I ALWAYS have the European Olives from Spain on hand, they are so delicious and I love the variety they offer…
Back to the pizza, I diced up the pitted Gordal and Hojiblanca olives (and snack on some as I go of course)
We bought the ready made dough from the deli and some Pizza shredded cheese.
Pre heat your BBQ to 400 degrees
To make the pizza simply roll out the dough to a 1/2 to 1/4 inch thickness and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Put the dough on the BBQ (don’t forget to oil the grates so there is no sticking)
Grill for about 2 minutes (until the bottom is golden brown) and remove it from the grill and flip it over so it’s cooked side up.
Put your toppings on, for us it’s organic tomato basil pizza sauce, Pizza shredded cheese and top with the Gordal and Hojiblanca olives.
Turn the heat down to low and place the pizza back on the grill.
Keep on the grill for about 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
Top with fresh grated parmasean cheese and enjoy.
ENJOY
P.S. I love snacking on the Manzanilla stuffed European Olives from Spain while I cook
