For those of you that haven’t noticed we are a house full of girls, well minus my husband, he’s totally a dude 😛
I always get asked how I feel about having girls AND if I ever wanted a boy so I am so happy to write about my experience.
First a brief history. When I met my husband he told me right away that he wanted to have a little girl and I went on to inform him that he is probably in luck, should we get hitched! See, I came from a loooong line of female dominating families. I was a single child and so was my mom, however my grandma had a sister (who also had 2 daughters) and her mom (my great grandma) had 2 sisters as well.
We always knew we wanted to have at least 2 kids (but not more then 3 :P) and we set out for them to be as close in age as possible. Ava and Sophie are 16 months apart and I was SO happy when we found out Sophie was a girl as I knew they would have so much to bond over.
I always keep joking that it wouldn’t matter how many babies I have, they would all be girls.
I always get asked how my husband feels about having girls or not having a boy. He swears up and down and all around that he was born to be a girls dad. He is totally rocking all the make up, tea, and biscuit sessions the girls put him through, but still needs some practice with putting their tights on, but many years of practice ahead. Now my dad is totally in the girls kingdom with 4 ladies by his side. But thankfully he has Dorian to grill steaks with 😛
Also, people always wonder if we had another baby would we want it to be a boy. Truth be told I DON’T CARE. I guess it would be cool to have something different but I feel like I wouldn’t even know what to do!!
I love having my girls, they are SO different in every possible way, personality AND looks wise, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Another perk of having 2 kids is twinning!! I got my twinning game ON. I never miss an opportunity to wear matching outfits with them. These dresses from Little and Lively’s spring collection are SO cute I can’t wait for warm sunny days outside to strut our stuff around. Love the floral design and the fabric is SO soft and it’s made locally!! You can shop our outfits HERE from their new spring collection. Check out their Instagram HERE to stay updated on they new collection (and they have the loveliest feed as well)
Here is to warm spring days ahead with our kids !!

I think it’s so precious when a daddy dotes on his daughters! I’m in the opposite boat so far with boys overtaking my life and I love it!

I have two boys and we found out the gender with both of them. When we found out we were pregnant with our third we chose not to find out. I wanted a third boy, like you said it’s all you know. I was afraid to find out in case it was a girl, the thought scared me and I’d have 6 months to fret. But I knew if she came out and she was a girl I would instantly be in love and nothing else would matter. Well guess what, it was a girl! ♥️ She completes us and no it wouldn’t have mattered what we had, it was the best surprise! Your daughters are beautiful and if you had a third I’m sure you would be ecstatic either way!
