Since it was our first Halloween that we dressed up and went trick or treating, I thought I would share this cuteness overload with ya.
We have been so busy over the last 2 years that we haven’t really done much with the kids in terms of Halloween. For Ava’s first Halloween we were too tired and she was simply too small to understand it anyways. Then, last year we moved into our house ON Halloween.
I was so excited to do all the Halloween stuff this year that I felt like a little kid myself!
Since I’m not very arts and crafty, good ol’ Costco costumes is what we got. Ava pretty much lost it in tears (of happiness of course) to be her favourite Elsa. And how CUTE is that Unicorn costume, too bad noone will fit it next year, BOO.
It was so fun going house to house trick or treating, Ava was SO excited and Sophie was very curious about all the decorations and commotion.
I simply cannot wait for it to be Halloween again.
Although the parting with candy and the subsequent sugar crash tantrum at bedtime was NOT fun. But it wouldn’t be a day with 2 toddlers without a melt down so I cannot complain.
Out with Halloween and time to start dreaming up Christmas.
Happy weekend everyone.
