My dad is many things to me, he’s a friend, doctor, fixer upper, joker, and best shish kabob maker EVER, but if I would have to pick just one “type” that described him best I would say he is the “handyman type” for sure.
He truly does have hands of gold and is a visionary when it comes to building or fixing something up. There is nothing he can’t do, and he pretty much cannot sit still without a project on the go.
He always makes everything by hand and is a master renovator who is always willing to help with whatever projects we have started. He’s painted, built and helped fix stuff around the house countless times.
My Instagram account is mostly known for my white on white decor, what most of you DON’T know is that when we moved in the colour of the walls was FAR from any shade of white. 5 coats of white paint and a crazy amount of putty later, along with my dad’s amazing painting skills, and now our house is the perfect shade of white. Honestly not a day goes by that I don’t look at my walls and think of what an amazing, long and hard work he’s done to make me oh so happy 😀

This year we decided to surprise my dad with a gift that we thought would really suit his “type”. First I thought maybe I should get him some kind of tool, but quickly ruled that out since the guy literally owns every tool known to man. So I started searching for more ideas.
