Yesterday we chanced the weather, threw the kids in the car and drove to the Abbotsford Tulip Festival.
IT WAS STUNNING, those flower fields are truly a work of art, I kind of want them all in my backyard.
If you are in the lower mainland you MUST go visit. A few tips though, make sure to wear rainboots as it’s MUDDY and bring your camera because the fields are endless photo ops.
Abbotsford Tulip festival is an endless possibility for photo ops.
I’ve been feeling a severe case of cabin fever, it’s been a long cold HARD winter with my husband commuting far for work and it’s also been a really wet and cold spring so there wasn’t really much getting out of the house going on lately. SOOO despite knowing that we were going to be covered in mud head to toe, I dressed up myself and the girls and I was so happy I did. In addition to the gorgeous images, it felt nice to LOOK good. It’s amazing what a pretty dress can do to a girl, instant mood lifter!! (Read this post about how to feel more like a woman when you are a busy mom HERE)
